Co-Founder, Web Designer and Gallery Curator
Kirk Boes has lived on Maui since 1973 and holds a B.A. in Communications and a Master’s in Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Kirk is a passionate artist himself, as well as a lover of art history. His passions include developing ways to showcase artists and connect them with art collectors.
He has an extensive background in sales and marketing. Kirk learned the art business as a consultant at the Bill Wyland Gallery and later served as the Gallery Director at the Banyan Tree Gallery for the Lahaina Arts Society. There he developed relationships with a huge number of active Maui artists.
Kirk currently serves as the Education Director for the Lahaina Arts Guild: a non profit that provides art education programs on Maui. Kirk will enthusiastically tell you that mentoring and promoting other artists has only increased the quality of his own art and life experience.
1991, Robert Gann came to Maui from San Francisco to windsurf and never left. A self employed entrepreneur who in August 2017, chose to be a full time artist/painter.
He describes himself as a post pre-cambrian nouveau neolithic constructionist of the new old school tongue-in-cheek tradition.
In Roberts view, the act of making the art is, "the art". What ends up on a board or canvas is an artifact left behind for the rest of us to admire and wonder at.
In 2021, his concept of a business by artists for artists began to form. One year on, together with co-founders Hallana Beck and Kirk Boes, We are proud to present artfarm.productions.
Hallana Beck recently moved to the islands, but grew up frequently visiting Maui due to a family history in the area. Hallana earned a Bachelors of Business in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship at Baldwin Wallace University and an Associate of Arts at Cuyahoga Community College while simultaneously studying Art History at Case Western Reserve University.
She previously filled many roles in Marketing, Grant Writing, Accounting, and Communications at organizations including the Cleveland Museum of Art, Murphy Music Press, and the Canton Symphony Orchestra.
Today, Hallana is living her dream by combining her passion for both business and the Arts on an island she loves. She is a lover of all forms of art and is dedicated to both creating and collecting art and supporting the artistic community as a whole.
